The X18 USB Audio Driver
The Zircon CI24 control interface uses the X18 USB Audio Driver on Windows.
This driver provides the ASIO audio interface used by Dirac 7.3 and Zircon 1.0, and is required before selecting the CI24 audio device in the software.
The driver version described in TN019 Section 3.1 step 14 is version 5.72.0.

Installation
Download and unzip the BEHRINGER_X18_v5.72.0_setup.zip file to a convenient location on your system. Run the installer from the extracted folder and follow the setup wizard. Connect and power on the CI24 before selecting the audio device in Dirac or Zircon.
In the Sound Device Setup window, select asio: X-AIR ASIO Driver for the CI24 audio interface.

Troubleshooting
- Make sure the CI24 is connected to the PC with the supplied USB cable and powered on.
- After turning on the CI24, allow Windows some time to register the USB audio device before opening the measurement software.
- If the ASIO device is not available, close Dirac or Zircon, check the USB connection and CI24 power, then start the software again.
- If Windows does not recognize the device, try a direct USB connection without a hub and reinstall the X18 USB Audio Driver.
- Contact us if the CI24 is still not available after reinstalling the driver.
